LOVE BY THE ALLEY I KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT

nice two Meat u [LOVE BY THE ALLEY]
Our interior design concept for the Nice Two Meat U branch, Love by the Alleys, draws inspiration from the dynamic and multifaceted character of Korean alleyways. Our objective is to capture the enigmatic, playful, casual, and comfortable essence of these alleys while honoring the client's K-Pop theme and the brand's values. To create a harmonious and engaging experience, we employ a material palette that contrasts rough and shiny textures, echoing the eclectic and vibrant storefronts of Korean alleyways. This materiality will be further accentuated through the creative use of colorful neon lights to tie the design elements together into a cohesive whole. Our design strategy is to layer sensory experience that encourages exploration and discovery. Through a sense of mystery and intrigue, our design inspires curiosity and draws customers into the space. Once inside, the space conveys a sense of fun and ease, inviting users to relax and enjoy a comfortable dining experience with their loved ones.

We possessed a deep understanding of Korean BBQ culture even before embarking on this project. Personally, we have avidly immersed ourselves in K-drama movies, drawing inspiration from various sources. One particular inspiration that resonated with us and seemed to align with the brand "nice two Meat u" and our client's K-pop theme is "The Alleys." This concept revolves around actors and actresses strolling through charming alleys, cherishing their moments.

To us, these alleys possess a multitude of personalities, offering abundant inspiration. Some exude an air of mystery, urging us to uncover the stories unfolding within the quaint vendors. At first glance, the alleys may seem enigmatic, but upon careful observation, one realizes the vibrant activities occurring within. The diverse array of shop vendors, each with its own unique brand personality, showcases a delightful contrast of textures - the rustic materials from which the vendors are constructed, the glistening effect when raindrops kiss these surfaces, and the unifying element of colorful neon lights that unite them as a harmonious family.

Our design endeavor for the Nice Two Meat You branch seeks to encapsulate these distinctive alley characteristics. The conceptual keywords we aim to embody are mystery, amusement, informality, and comfort. We strive to craft a captivating shop front and entrance that pique customers' curiosity, compelling them to venture inside. Our objective is to cultivate an ambiance that radiates carefree enjoyment, enabling individuals to relish their meals and cherish quality time spent with loved ones. By evoking the essence of "Love by the alleys," we intend to establish a unique aesthetic that reflects our deep appreciation for and alignment with the core values of the "NICE TWO MEAT U " brand.
